When you talk about the problem you solve, whose language are you using?
So many business owners describe the problem from their own perspective and not with language that resonates with their ideal client. It is so, so important to use your customer’s language. How do they describe the problem?
Easiest way to find out? Listen to them. When you have that initial chat, or discovery call, or whatever your process is – take note of the exact words and phrases they are using to describe the problem and, crucially, how having that challenge is making them feel.
When you can really tune into and tell your customer’s story, in a way that shows you totally get where they are at now, and how they are feeling about the challenges they are facing, your messaging and marketing will be super impactful.
