I recently popped into a branch of Pret a Manger, for a coconut latte.
As I rummaged in my bag for my purse the lady serving me said, with a big smile on her face, “That’s OK madam. It’s on the house”.
Really? Wow! It stopped me in my tracks.
And do you know how many people I have told that story to since? Countless. And now here I am, telling you.
You don’t have to give your stuff away for free, but what could you do that would “wow” your customers and have them telling your story for you?
