FREELANCE WRITER/STORYTELLER

I am looking for freelance copywriters, who totally get the power of story-led marketing, to join my virtual team and help me deliver an awesome experience for my amazing clients.

Is this you?

You have a writing background (marketing experience a bonus!) and enjoy working virtually, but would also enjoy being part of and contributing to an energetic and creative team that is growing.

You have a passion for storytelling and understand how important it is to capture the essence, voice and tone of a business and brand in their story.

You have excellent writing skills and an ability to write engaging and emotive copy and how to write succinctly, keeping the essence of the piece intact.

Your spelling and grammar is spot-on, but you also know that personality-led writing doesn’t always have to follow the ‘rules’.

You take enormous pride in your work and are always 100% committed to doing a first-class job. Diligent, totally reliable with meticulous attention to detail, your work is always to a high-standard.

And, as storytelling is ultimately about creating connections and building relationships, you have excellent people and listening skills. You get that it is only possible to find the “gold” in people’s stories by being highly tuned in to what they are saying.

Working virtually

As you work alone, and plan your own work schedule, you are an enthusiastic self-motivator, efficient and organised, good at managing your time and meeting deadlines.

But you also know your limits, how to manage your energy and when to say “no”. You would never compromise the quality of your work, by taking too much on.

You have a positive, can-do attitude and an ability to focus on the job in hand, without being easily distracted!

You love the flexibility that comes with working alone but would also value being part of a team that supports each other.

Please note: although we are a virtual team, we do like to meet up in person every couple of months, so applicants would ideally be in SE England and able to travel to Chichester for a team day.

Always learning

You are also someone that is happy to take feedback on board. Getting a great result for the client is more important than being “right”.

In fact, you love learning and are always striving to be better. You are creative, keen to bring ideas to the table and confident to try new things.

And you get that we are not just about writing words, we are about helping our clients create meaningful connections with their dream clients, through the engaging and emotive stories we craft.
